Get ready and prepare your La Redoute French Sales in Lengow!

Sales on La Redoute start on January 09th 2019 Until February 19th, 2019.

ONLY your Sale offers must be sent to LaRedoute before Tuesday the 18th of December 2018 at 03:00 pm.
Any feed offer sent after this date will not be guaranteed for the launch and will not be able to benefit from the sticker SOLDES.

Your products will be sold from the second day of the Sales on La Redoute. For more information about this, please contact your La Redoute account manager.

1. Law about sales

We hereby inform you that the French Decree dated December 31, 2008 on prices reduction was revoked.

As a reminder, this decree provided that the crossed price to indicate during sale or price reduction periods has to be the lowest price used during the 30 days preceding the beginning of the sale (ie December 11th).

As from now, you may freely decide the cross price you will display, provided that:

  • This price shall not be deemed as an unfair trading practice (for instance, the price shall have been used and for a significant period of time).
  • You must be able to justify, in case of control, of the reality of the crossed price you used.

2. Sending sales offer

2.1 To ensure proper integration of your mark-downs on the website

LaRedoute awaits your offers feed with sales until Tuesday the 18th of December 2018 at 03:00 pm. Any offers feed sent after this time is very likely not to be integrated at launch.

2.2 To ensure merchandising on your products

To ensure optimum merchandising (sticker “Soldes”, boosting products in the lists pages, etc..) La Redoute awaits your offers feed with only your sales offer until Tuesday the 18th of December 2018 at 03:00 pm.

Any feed offers sent after this date will not receive the sticker “Soldes” (this has no impact on the successful integration of your mark-downs).

3. Feed configuration

According to the process expected from LaRedoute, there are a few steps to follow within the Lengow solution in order to get your feed ready for the sales period.

3.1 Prepare your feed to be sent before Tuesday the 18th of December 2018 at 03:00 pm

The following values must be sent to La Redoute for those of your products that are included in a sale:

  • "SellingPriceAmount": must contain your discounted sale price.
  • "PrixBarre": must contain your struck-through price.
  • "OfferPeriodStartDate": must contain the sale start date "2019-01-09T00:01:00".
  • "OfferPeriodEndDate": must contain the sale end date "2019-02-20T00:01:00" (Even if Sales Ended on 19/02/2019 at 11:59pm).

To provide this information, set up a Rule to enter these values only for those of your products to be included in the sale.

For example:

2018-11-22_16h34_30.png

3.2 Data validation

Use the Preview to ensure that your feed is ready to be sent to La Redoute.

At this stage, you must have provided the following for your sale products:

  • The "SellingPriceAmount" field must contain the sale prices for your products.
  • The "PrixBarre" field must contain the struck-through price for your products.
  • The "OfferPeriodStartDate" field must contain the value "2019-01-09T00:01:00".
  • The "OfferPeriodEndDate" field must contain the value "2019-02-20T00:01:00".

And for any products that are not included in the sale:

  • The "SellingPriceAmount" filed must contain the sale price of your product.
  • The "PrixBarre" (strikethrough price) field must be blank.
  • The "OfferPeriodStartDate" field must be blank.
  • The "OfferPeriodEndDate" field must be blank.

3.3 Notify La Redoute

Contact your La Redoute account manager to notify them that your feed is ready for this stage and to ensure that it is received correctly on your end. Help them to carry out their analysis by providing the two or three product identifiers that are included in your "Soldes" (Sale) feed.

We suggest that you use the "Activity" tab of your La Redoute field to check whether your feed has successfully been sent to La Redoute.

3.4 Send the feed to update products before the start of the sale

Following the sending of your SALES Offers and when LaRedoute has validated its receipt, you can continue to update your prices until the first day of sales. For this, and to avoid overwriting your prices or setting up balances too early, here are the actions to take:

  • Delete the rule that you created at step 3.1.
  • Make a new rule to complete the La Redoute "OfferPeriodEndDate" field with the value "2019-01-09T00:01:00" ONLY for Sales products.
  • Turn on this rule for a defined period, starting at the current date and entering the 08th of January, 2018 as the end date. (Pay close attention to the automatic rule status so that only products to be included in the sale are impacted).

2018-12-18_11h43_06.png

Thus, the SOLD OFFERS will not be overwritten and the 09/01/2019 at 00:01, they will take over and will be posted on LaRedoute.

The prices sent in the "SellingPriceAmount" and "PrixBarre" (strikethrough price) must be your regular prices, not those for the French sales period. Reset your previous conditions (before the implementation of point 3.1.)

At this point, you should have the following for your future sale prices:

  • The "SellingPriceAmount" field must contain the normal prices for your products.
  • The "PrixBarre" (strikethrough price) field must be blank.
  • The "OfferPeriodStartDate" field must be blank.
  • The "OfferPeriodEndDate" field must contain the value "2019-01-09T00:01:00".

And, for any products that will not be included in the sale:

  • The "SellingPriceAmount" field must contain the normal prices for your products.
  • The "PrixBarre" (strikethrough price) field must be blank.
  • The "OfferPeriodStartDate" field must be blank.
  • The "OfferPeriodEndDate" field must be blank.

3.3 Sending your feeds during the sale period

During the sale period, your products that are on sale must have the following values:

  • The "SellingPriceAmount" must contain the discounted sale price for your products.
  • The "PrixBarre" (strikethrough price) field must contain the struck through price of your products.

The LaRedoute "OfferPeriodStartDate" and "OfferPeriodEndDate" will automatically be completed by Lengow with the current date and the date in a year's time respectively, as requested by LaRedoute. You must leave these fields blank for those of your products that are included in the sale.

On the first day of the sales, use the Preview to ensure that:

  • sale prices are entered in the "SellingPriceAmount" field.
  • your struck-through prices are included in the "PrixBarre" field.
  • the "OfferPeriodStartDate" is blank.
  • the "OfferPeriodEndDate" is blank.

4. Lengow intervention

We don't proceed to injection values on demand (via csv file), we had too many side effects at the end of the sale periods (wrong price, sales prices exported when the sales are over…) causing too many errors. This requires you to go through a specific field in your raw field or through optimisations in Lengow (Rules).

5. Sales end

When the sales period is over, products that have a different value in the « SellingPriceAmount » and « PrixBarre » fields, will be displayed as on promotion products on La Redoute.

"OfferPeriodStartDate" and "OfferPeriodEndDate" fields from LaRedoute are automatically completed by Lengow (respectively with today's date and today's +1 year), as requested by Le Redoute. You have to let these fields empty within the optimised feed for your products the days before and after the end of the sales period.

To remove the stricked price from La Redoute, send the same value within the « SellingPriceAmount » and « PrixBarre » fields to La Redoute.

Happy sales with La Redoute!
