This guide is for merchants using the new Lengow platform only.
Our application is compatible with Shopify and Shopify Plus.
Contact our Support Team to download the plugin.
1. Application install
1.1 Application install in Shopify
Before installing/updating the plugin, follow our advice!
To install our application, go to the Shopify app Store. Click on "Add App" to obtain the Lengow application. Your Shopify backoffice opens automatically. Validate requested rights to activate the Lengow application and then validate the installation.
1.2 Application update
No update is necessary. Updates are automatically managed by Lengow on our platform.
Access the application
Once the application is installed, go to the "Apps" section of your back office and click on "Lengow" to access the solution.
1.3 Connect your App Shopify to your Lengow account
Connection steps are the same for all of our CMS plugins/applications.
Please read them in our dedicated article: "Connect your Lengow account to a CMS plugin/application".
Once you have logged into your Lengow account, you can launch the import of your Shopify catalogue: all of your products will be imported onto the Lengow platform. You will find them under the "Catalogues" section.
2. Set up Shopify App in Lengow
No specific configuration is required for the application.
You will select the products you want to distribute directly in the Lengow solution.
3. Daily use recommendations
The Lengow indexer automatically creates a Shopify ID for your entire catalog to collect your products and get your orders via the App.
This ID is blocked by Lengow (Matching Lengow) and to avoid any problem while importing orders and retrieving products, it must be used when setting attribute "ID" type for ALL the channels you have chosen (see below).
This ID takes the following format: IDproduit_Idvariant (Ex: 12345678901_99876543212) or IDproduit (if invariant)
Your additions, deletions and product changes are automatically synchronized on Lengow platform.
If you wish, you can also manually update your entire catalogue from the "Catalogues" tab on Lengow.
In Shopify, In the “Orders” section, you'll find all of your orders and especially orders that have been transmitted through Lengow from the marketplaces.
- Look for the "Lengow" keyword to display all the orders coming from Lengow
- Find an order by searching for its number in the Shopify search engine
Click on the order. You will find details regarding the origin of the order and in the "Additional Information" block, the data that Lengow has recovered from marketplaces:
- Marketplace name
- Marketplace SKU
- Whether the marketplace has managed to send it or not
Regularly check the "Orders" section of the Lengow platform to ensure that you have no orders in error.
When an error is detected in your order (missing item in the delivery address, non-existent product variation, ...), its synchronization with Shopify cannot be completed and so the order isn't imported into your Shopify backoffice.
These orders are marked with a red banner and an exclamation mark on the order dashboard in your Lengow account.
In the order detail, a message will inform you of the reason for the error. When you’ve fixed the problem, synchronize your order again to find it in your Shopify backoffice.
Actions made on orders
Actions taken on orders (send and cancel) which you are are carried out in your Shopify backoffice are automatically transmitted to Lengow, then to the marketplace.
For marketplaces that accept it, the refund must be made from the Lengow platform ("Orders" tab).
4. Uninstalling the Shopify app
You can uninstall the Shopify app from the Shopify platform.
Please note that this will permanently remove catalogs imported in Lengow and channels you have linked to them.
